Olivera Injac was born 1972 in Podgorica, Montenegro. Graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy. Postgraduate Studies “European Integration and Southeast Europe” completed at the University of Montenegro (Center for International Cooperation) and at the Faculty of Political Science in Podgorica she defended her master thesis on the topic “Sociological Aspects of Contemporary Terrorism in Europe”. In January 2011 at the same Faculty, she defended her doctoral dissertation, “The Cultural Aspects of International Security”. Dr. Olivera Injac worked for the Ministry of Interior of Montenegro from 1999 to 2008. In September 2008 she started her academic career at the University - Faculty of Humanistic Studies as a full-time faculty member, teaching subjects from the field of security studies. Dr. Injac’s fields of scientific research are international and global security, terrorism and security culture, amongst others. Dr. Injac is the author of numerous papers and books, including recently “Security Studies and Security Culture” (ISBN 978-86-531-0223-4), June 2016, Belgrade and “National Security Policy and Strategy and Cyber Security Risks” (coauthor), chapter in “Handbook of Research on Civil Society and National Security in the Era of Cyber Warfare”, (ISBN13: 9781466687936), October 2015, USA.
