Biography
Bernd Hüttemann is Secretary General of the European Movement Germany, a non-partisan network of almost 250 member organisations in the field of EU politics in Germany. Born in Paderborn, his career path has taken him to Brussels, Zagreb, Bratislava, Cologne and Stuttgart. His political career began with the Young European Federalists (JEF). He studied Political Science, History and European Law at the University of Bonn and is a visiting lecturer on lobbyism and public diplomacy at the University of Passau (Chair of European Studies) as well as the Berlin School of Economics and Law. He is Vice President of the European Movement International and Political Advisor to the episcopal working group “European affairs“ at the German Bishops‘ Conference (Catholic church).
