Lunch-hour Discussion: Mission Possible – How Can a Civil Society Organisation Influence SSR in the Country in Transition?
On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP), one of co-founders and organisers of BSF, BSF will host an informal panel on how to use Serbian experience in addressing challenges that civil society faces addressing SSR in other democratizing and post-conflict countries.
At the panel, the study ‘Towards Mission Possible: Using Serbian Experience to Address Egyptian Civil Society’s Expectations of SSR’ will be presented.
Note: While we hope to provide a food for thought for CSOs considering engagement with SSR and to those providing them with the support in democratising countries, we invite you to bring the food to the panel and join in the discussion.
