Denisa Sarajlić

Dr. Denisa Sarajlić currently works as a Senior Researcher for the Foreign Policy Initiative BiH, and works also as an independent consultant on a major project implemented by SKL International at local level. She is a former Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with extensive experience working with international organisations, in the NGO sector and in consulting. She has worked on developing, implementing and evaluating policies at the local, national and international levels, with a particular focus on European accession and its impacts. She has a PhD in European Affairs, and has published extensively on the topic of public policy, local governments, European integration, and foreign policy. She has conducted large-scale academic research projects as well as research projects for civil society, government, and international organisations. As an independent consultant, Denisa has conducted a number of evaluations of donor projects in BiH over the course of 20 years, and has conducted research for international clients on different aspects of policy reform in BiH.
