Đorđe Krivokapić
Biography
Dr. Đorđe Krivokapić is associate lecturer at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences at the University of Belgrade, where he teaches courses in Business Law and IT Law. Before taking up his faculty position, Đorđe was employed as a legal associate at Karanović & Nikolić Law Office, the leading commercial law office in the Western Balkans, where he was involved in numerous successful transactions and projects. Before joining Karanović & Nikolić, Đorđe graduated with a degree in law from the University of Belgrade and then received an LL.M. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. At the moment, Đorđe serves as the Legal and Policy Director of Share Foundation – fighting for the public’s interest in every critical battle affecting digital rights with a focus on online free speech, information privacy, digital security and access to knowledge. Đorđe is in the final stages of a PhD program at the Law Faculty of the University of Belgrade. His PhD thesis is focused on the conflict of the legal aspects of violations of reputation, privacy and personality rights, particularly the implications of these violations performed via the Internet on jurisdictional, choice of law and recognition & enforcement issues.
