Biography
Dukagjin Gorani (PhD) is a former journalist and editor with a range of Kosovo media. Mr Gorani has been an active participant in the public and political scene since the early 1990s. A Kosovo Albanian from Prishtina, his professional background encompasses media expertise as well as political analysis of the events and processes surrounding Kosovo and the region. Presently, as well as college teaching in Kosovo and Albania, Mr Gorani is also engaged as a visiting lecturer with Durham University (the DGSI Institute) as well as serving as the executive director of the recently founded Liberal Democratic Centre in Prishtina. He holds a doctorate from Cardiff University in the UK in the field of cultural theory and discourse analysis.
