Erik Plänitz

Erik Plänitz is a PhD fellow at the Arnold-Bergstraesser-Institute Freiburg/Germany and holds a Master’s Degree in Global Studies from Gothenburg University. His actual studies focus on extreme weather and urban political violence in Sub-Sahara Africa. As part of Horizon 2020 EU-CivCAP he researched EU mediation on the Balkans and local capacity building in Ethiopia at Roskilde University/Denmark.
