Jelle Leunis

Jelle Leunis is a PhD student at the Free University of Brussels (Vrije Universiteit Brussel) on a PhD fellowship of the Research Foundation Flanders. His main research topic is the democratic control of private military and security companies. He has obtained a Master of Arts in Philosophy and was rewarded the Flemish Peace Prize with a dissertation on just war theory and private military companies. He has a master’s degree in philosophy from the Peace Studies department at Bradford University (UK).
